Slide Night Rules apply for entry limits and general guidelines.

Wednesday before Slide/Digital Night.

Formatting for Submission:

1) Resize image to a maximum of 768 pixels along the longest dimension (768 pixels wide for landscape-oriented images, or 768 pixels high for portrait-oriented images.

2) Save file in a JPEG format at the highest quality setting possible (either “maximum” or #12).

Digital File Naming Conventions:

Each filename will consist of three sections separated by hyphens:  

        Prefix-Title-Maker.jpg

The Prefix is either       “A” for Assignment, or
                                    “O” for Open Category
                                             “N” for Non-Judged Category

The image Title will use spaces between the words:
                                    “Artists Point Lupine”

The maker’s Full Name will be entered (use a space):
                                    “Joe Smith”

Hyphenate only between each section to minimize confusion for the projectionist and scorekeeper.

Examples of file names for:

Assignment Category:              
            A-Artists Point Lupine-Joe Smith.jpg
Open Category:                       
            O-Artists Point Lupine-Joe Smith.jpg

Winners and Honorable Mentions may be asked to provide a higher quality image for printing in the
In Focus newsletter (mike@nowheremangraphics.com).
