Traveling Image Salon - Deadline for entry is February 15!
It's once again time for the Northwest Council of Camera Clubs Traveling Image Salon.
Please read the following directions before entering.
A group of NWCCC-affiliated clubs, including PSCC, each collect between 20 and 25 images from their members. The images are anonymized and posted on the NWCCC website with each club having its own page.
Each month, members of each participating club will view the images of one of the other participating clubs. The members then vote for their five favorite images. The votes are collected and, at the end of the competition year, the highest ranked images from each club will be compiled into a final list of winners.
This is a great opportunity to both submit your work and to view the work of our sister clubs around the region.
Rules:
This is a digital-only competition. Resolution must not exceed 1920 pixels wide or 1080 pixels high (note this is slightly different than PSCC's requirements). Images should be rendered in the sRGB color space for consistency in judging. Be careful not to make your images too small as that will have a negative impact on the quality of the image being viewed.
Images cannot have been winners of other NWCCC competitions (Digital, Print, or Slideshow). You may resubmit old entries, but we encourage you to submit new work. Note that images submitted will not be eligible to be entered in the 2026 NWCCC Open Digital Salon.
This is an open competition covering any subject. Voting criteria should be based on the elements of Impact/Interest, Composition, Originality/Creativity and Technical Quality.
You may enter up to three images, but the club is limited to no more than 25 images total. That means we may not be able to include all your entries. You will need to indicate in the file name your preference about which images you want included from one to three. We will take all of the entries ranked #1 (up to 25 images). If we haven't yet reached 25, we will start in on the #2 images and so on. Priority will be given to first come first served, so get your entries in ASAP.
Please name your images as follows: ranking (1-3)_image title_maker's name.jpg
